Phi Phi Islands are located in Thailand, between Thailand’s Phuket island and the mainland. Politically the islands are part of Krabiprovince. Ko Phi Phi Don (“ko” means island in Thai) is the largest island inthis archipelago, and is the only island with permanent inhabitantsof the coast although the second largest island, Ko Phi Phi Lee is often visited by many tourists. There are no accommodationfacilities in the island, but the journey from Ko Phi Phi Don only takes a minute. Other islands are not more than large rockssticking out into the sea.
